Stanislaus River Parks will celebrate National Public Lands Day on Saturday by waiving fees for its day-use recreation areas and volunteers who participate in a number of park improvement projects at the Knights Ferry Recreation Area.
The National Environmental Education Foundation coordinates National Public Lands Day in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, USDA Forest Service, and other federal agencies, state and local parks, and non-profits.
