Ashland sting nets 4 pounds of meth, 2 arrests

Two California men face felony drug charges following a south Ashland sting operation Wednesday that allegedly netted four pounds of methamphetamine hidden inside a secret compartment.

Martin Cordova-Garcia, 26, of Turlock, California, and David Gomez-Aguilar, 23, of San Jose, were arrested in the 500 block of Clover Lane on meth possession and delivery charges accusing them of trafficking drugs to Southern Oregon at the request of an informant working with Oregon State Police, according to documents filed Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court.
