Stolen vehicle pursuit ends with crash in Turlock

A pursuit of a stolen vehicle on Tuesday that stretched into multiple counties and took a circuitous route through Turlock neighborhoods and downtown ended with a crash when the driver sped the car through the intersection at N. Soderquist Road and W. Canal Drive and hit another vehicle.

Both the suspect and the two people in the other vehicle were transported to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.

Woman, two dogs die as result of Turlock single-vehicle crash

A 40-year-old woman and two dogs died Wednesday as the result of a rollover crash in Turlock, according to authorities.

Turlock resident Brandi Kane was driving a Hyundai Tucson westbound on West Linwood Avenue, approaching South Washington Street, when she crashed around 3:15 p.m., according to Turlock police. No other vehicles were involved.

On a Friday afternoon at around 4 p.m., Turlock’s peace was suddenly disrupted by a devastating car accident involving three vehicles at the intersection of West Christofferson Parkway and Kilroy Avenue, leaving behind an explosion of destruction that left residents shocked and reeling in its wake.

Who Were the Victims in the Crash?

Unfortunately, the crash claimed the life of 48-year-old Turlock resident. Additionally, multiple people involved were taken to local hospitals with injuries sustained in the collision and their current conditions remain of great concern to community members.

Woman killed, teen arrested for DUI in Turlock area crash

A 17-year-old was arrested for DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter after a woman in his vehicle died when he ran a stop sign and crashed into a cattle trailer in the Turlock area Sunday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said. 

At about 3:30 p.m., the CHP received a report of a crash a Fulkerth Road at Faith Home Road. This is where they found a two-vehicle crash.

Details emerge about circumstances of crash that killed Turlock basketball coach

New details have helped form a clearer picture as to what led up to the collision that killed a beloved Turlock High School basketball coach on Dec. 29. But what exactly happened remains murky.

Johnathan Williams, 48, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital after a rollover crash near Pitman High School. Williams was formerly the girls varsity basketball head coach for Turlock High and was an assistant coach of both the varsity boys and girls teams at the time of his death.
