Jura’s has been part of Turlock long enough for residents to remember different addresses. The pizza parlor opened in 1979, later moved to Center Street and eventually settled at Turlock Town Center. Pizza and hot wings remained the through line as the surroundings changed.

The Journal’s Town Center relocation story traced Jura’s path from Golden State Boulevard and Olive Avenue to a larger location at Center Street and Mitchell Avenue, then back to Golden State Boulevard at the shopping center. The move brought an established Turlock restaurant into the plaza rather than introducing an unfamiliar name.
Its history continued well beyond that relocation: the City’s October 2025 economic development report highlighted Jura’s 46-year milestone. That matches a business that began in 1979 and has served Turlock through several changes of location.
